Buy a promotional pack of Mobil 1™ or have an oil change to receive your own unique Promotion Code, then submit an online claim within the promotional period as detailed in the Terms and conditions on this website. Successful claims will receive a Redemption Code and link via email to enter on the website to obtain the Virtual Mastercard®

A maximum of three (3) individual purchases and subsequent claims per participant are permitted during the Promotional Period.

If your Mobil 1 bottle does not have a promotional tear and reveal sticker you will not be eligible for the promotion and only valid and unused Promotion codes will be accepted.

If you have not been supplied a scratch card you will not be eligible for the promotion and only valid and unused Promotion codes will be accepted.

The Virtual Mastercard will have a 6-month validity from date of issue.

The Virtual Mastercard can be used to make a purchase of up to £5 or £10 depending on the Reward amount you have received. Your card may be used for transactions where the total transaction amount is equal or less than the Virtual Mastercard balance. You can only redeem a Virtual Mastercard on transactions where the transaction value exceeds the Virtual Mastercard balance if the retailer processing the transaction accepts split payments. To find out if a retailer accepts split payments please contact the individual retailer directly.

Virtual Mastercard is an online prepaid Mastercard number that can be used anywhere card not present Mastercard transactions are valid. This includes online stores, over the phone or by mail order.

  1. Step 1: Receive your Virtual Mastercard Code.
  2. Step 2: Visit, enter your details and select ‘Submit’.
  3. Step 3: Your Card Number, CVC & Valid Thru date will be displayed on the screen, write these down or screenshot them but keep them safe.
  4. Step 4: Combine the Card Number, CVC & Valid Thru date to make a purchase.

The code you receive to claim your Virtual Mastercard has a variable redemption period which will be communicated at time of receipt. Once claimed the Virtual Mastercard validity period is 6 months from date of issue. This expiry is displayed once claimed.

No. Each Virtual Mastercard has a separate and unique Mastercard number.

If you have lost your Virtual Mastercard number you can view it again by visiting then re-entering your details. We recommend that you keep your Virtual Mastercard numbers in a safe place. You should treat your Virtual Mastercard number and security details with the same protection as you would a physical Mastercard card or cash.

You can check your Virtual Mastercard's available balance and complete transaction history online, at any time, free of charge by visiting then re-entering your details.

If you attempt to use your Virtual Mastercard for a transaction that is greater than the remaining available balance - the transaction will be declined.

Some sites such as PayPal have the ability to decline prepaid cards. For the prevention of fraud, Virtual Mastercard cards are for direct Mastercard transactions only. If your purchase is declined, try using your Virtual Mastercard at a different site.
